Michaelmas Fair 11am to 5pm - Adults £5.00, Seniors £4.50, Children £3.00
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October, Burton Agnes Hall hosts its annual Michaelmas Fair. The grounds of the magnificent stately home will be filled with seasonal craft and food stalls, music, entertainers and fairground fun.
Michaelmas is the traditional feast of St. Michael which falls on the autumnal equinox and marks the end of the farming year and the coming of dark nights. The street Fair will be based on the theme of produce (food and drink) and products from the countryside and gardens. Stalls include Gold on the Wold, Kilnwick Gardens, Wold Top Beer, Maid in the Kitchen and many more!
Spooky Pumpkin Trail
Take part in a Spooky Pumpkin Trail half term week
The trail will take visitors on an eerie journey round the Hall’s woodland where carved pumpkins will be hiding amongst the creaking trees and rustling bushes.
Every pumpkin will hold a clue and once the entire puzzle has been solved a treat waits in the Hall but visitors are advised to watch out for the giant spiders and creepy caterpillars hiding in the woodland trees!
The spooky pumpkin trail is fun for all the family and there is no extra charge for the trail as it is included in the normal admission price and is free for season pass holders.
