Head Gardeners' Diary

Take advantage of the cold weather by sowing your perennial seeds and placing them outdoors. The cold weather should aid germination of the seedlings. After 3 to 4 weeks outside bring the seedlings indoors and germination will hopefully take place. As and when seedlings emerge put them into pots.

Start sowing your tomato seeds towards the end of January.

Start planning which vegetables you would like to grow this year and buy your seeds ready for planting.
