Church

St Martin's Church, situated behind the Norman Manor House, dates from the twelfth-century. The chancel suffers from mid-nineteenth century restoration carried out by Archdeacon Wilberforce, son of the reformer William Wilberforce. Many of the family tombs are of considerable historic and architectural interest.
