A combined hundred and fifty years of memories are gathered in ‘Before my Time’: a CD of stories in living memory, about life at Burton Agnes Hall.

Simon Cunliffe-Lister, of Burton Agnes Hall, narrates the collection of intriguing stories, explaining how he inherited the Hall from his ‘Uncle’ Marcus Wickham-Boynton, a passionate art collector and racehorse breeder. The stories also reveal how Burton Agnes Hall has evolved during 100 a hundred years, from a Downton-esque social order to modern times.

Simon invites listeners to join him for a unique and personal exploration of his life and home, as remembered by Vicente Arroyo and Keith Hawkins, both of whom shared Marcus’ fervent commitment to reviving and restoring this exquisite home.
